Clubcall reports Daniel Agger has no desire to leave Liverpool in a likely summer defensive reshuffle at the club.

Manager Brendan Rodgers will be losing Jamie Carragher to retirement and a new role with Sky Sports for next season.

Martin Skrtel is likely to leave after losing his place in the team to Carragher following a shaky performance in the FA Cup humiliation at Oldham in January, whilst Sebastian Coates is heading for the exit too.

However Agger (pictured), who was linked with summer moves to Barcelona and Manchester City last season, insists he is happy at Anfield and is determined to see out his current contract, which has three more years to run.

Agger said: “I still have three years left and I intend to fulfil them.  There are always rumours, but who is creating them?  I don’t know.

“It is not a bad thing to be linked with top clubs but you have to take 70 per cent (of the speculation) off and then you have the reality.”

The 28-year-old joined Liverpool from Brondby in January 2006 and has featured 209 times for the Reds in all competitions under no fewer than four different managers.

Agger has found the net 12 times for the club – his best scoring season was four in his first full campaign in 2006-07.

He has also found the target seven times for Denmark.
