The agent of Javier Hernandez has told Sky Sports that his client has no intention whatsoever of leaving Manchester United.
The Mexican international, who signed from Chivas three seasons ago, is a popular figure at the club and is affectionally known by his supporters as ‘Chicharito.’
However, he has slipped down the striking pecking order, and despite scoring 10 goals in 22 Premier League appearances, was fourth choice behind Robin van Persie, Danny Welbeck and Wayne Rooney last season.
It had been suggested that Real Madrid might be willing to sell Cristiano Ronaldo back to his former club, if they got Hernandez (pictured) in part exchange.
However Eduardo Hernandez, the striker’s representative has dismissed rumours that Javier is on his way out of Old Trafford.
He said: “He is very happy at Manchester United. Javier has been there three years and has won the league twice. Not many can say they have achieved that.”
In recent months, Hernandez has taken the old super-sub tag that used to be reserved at United for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
He has a canny knack for scoring at crucial times. The 25-year-old has scored an impressive 32 times for Mexico, having won just 47 caps.
