Galatasaray have pulled out of the race to sign Manchester United’s wantaway winger Nani, confirms Goal.com.

Last season’s Champions League quarter-finalists made a bid over the weekend for the Portuguese midfielder in the region of £6m.

However, it was rejected by United, who would like a fee closer to £10m.

As a result, Galatasaray will now turn their attention to other targets.

Nani (pictured) made headlines for a hotly disputed red card against Real Madrid in the Champions League in March, and only started seven Premier League matches in Sir Alex Ferguson’s swansong campaign.

Nani has one year left on his contract, and is unlikely to earn a new deal.  The Red Devils almost sold him to Zenit St Petersburg in January and would be happy to listen to offers,

Goal.com adds, as long as they meet the asking price. Monaco are now favourites to sign Nani.
