Cabaye seeking a return back to France

Clubcall believes PSG are about to make Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye a tempting offer to return to France.

Cabaye had great success previously in his homeland, winning the league and cup double with Lille in 2011 before switching to his current club on a five-year deal later that summer.

The playmaker has enjoyed a starring role since arriving in Tyneside, but the club’s decline from fifth to 16th in just one season seems to be weighing on Cabaye’s mind.

It is understood his strained relations with manager Alan Pardew could well persuade him to make a move to the French capital.

PSG are ready to offer the 27-year-old (pictured) the chance to compete regularly for domestic and European honours.

Cabaye made his international debut in 2010, and represented France at Euro 2012, finding the net in the group victory over Ukraine in Donetsk.

He has been capped 20 times by Les Bleus and despite missing two months of the last campaign with groin surgery required, found the net six times for Newcastle.
