The Daily Mirror has reported that Fiorentina have told Arsenal that if they want their prized asset Stevan Jovetic, they will have to meet their hefty price tag.

Jovetic (pictured) is Arsenal’s number one target and Arsene Wenger has already indicated he will spend money after Champions League qualification was secured for the 16th successive campaign last weekend.

However the Florence outfit, who narrowly missed out on playing in the Champions League next season to AC Milan, have said Jovetic will not be made available unless anyone meets the asking price of £30m.

The 23-year-old impressed for Montenegro in the World Cup qualifier with England in March, and has been scoring goals for fun in Italy; despite a slightly more mediocre return this campaign of 12 goals in 33 league appearances.

Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain is another target, although Juventus look set to add the Argentine to their impressive striking roster, which already has Alessandro Matri, Sebastian Giovinco, Mirko Vucinic, Nicolas Anelka and the arriving Fernando Llorente.
