Borussia Dortmund have already started to plan for next season after their Wembley heartache, and look set to add Christian Eriksen to their squad.

Targeted by Manchester United, Barcelona and Liverpool, the youngster seems to be nearing a £10m move to Dortmund, according to talkSPORT.

The 21-year-old is among Europe’s leading stars, and has progressed brilliantly at Ajax, who have a habit for developing star youngsters which have included Dennis Bergkamp, Edgar Davids and Patrick Kluivert in their glorious past.

Eriksen (pictured) will fill the void that is being left vacated by Mario Gotze, who is joining German rivals and Champions League winners Bayern Munich at the start of July.

Backed by American kit giants Nike, Eriksen, has won three consecutive Dutch league titles, 34 caps for Denmark, and was voted the Danish Player of the Year in 2011.

He featured at both the World Cup in South Africa three years ago, and at Euro 2012.  He will sign a five-year deal if the move goes ahead as expected.
