Sky Sports has revealed that Berlin (stadium pictured) and Warsaw will stage the two major European club competition finals in 2015, the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League.

UEFA has announced that the German capital will stage the 2015 Champions League final on the eve of the all-German showpiece at Wembley tomorrow between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

Warsaw’s National Stadium will be the home for the 2015 Europa League final.

Berlin’s Olympic Stadium was the iconic setting for the historic 1936 Olympic Games and also held the 2006 World Cup final, when Zinedine Zidane’s career ended in disgrace after his red card in the final between Italy and France.

It will be the fifth time a German venue will have held the Champions League final since the restructuring of the competition back in 1992.

Munich has held the final in 1993, 1997 for Dortmund’s only European Cup victory over Juventus and of course, Chelsea shocking the hosts in 2012.

The AufSchalke arena in Gelsenkirchen held the 2004 edition.

The 2014 European finals will be held in Lisbon (Champions League), and Turin (Europa League).
