Eurosport understands FIFA’s new anti-racism and discrimination task force has been set-up, with familiar English faces on the board.
David Bernstein and Howard Webb are on the 12-man governing body, and will be part of the first meeting of the new group which will take place in Zurich next week.
Webb (pictured) is one of England’s top referees, and was in charge of both the UEFA Champions League final and World Cup final in 2010.
Bernstein is the current chairman of the FA, and has overseen suspensions for the likes of Luis Suarez and John Terry for incidents of racial abuse on the football field.
Former Hull City striker Jozy Altidore, who currently plays for AZ Alkmaar in Holland, is also on the board, along with Piara Powar from European anti-discrimination body FARE.
Another key figure on the task force is Kevin-Prince Boateng. The Ghanaian midfielder has held talks with FIFA president Sepp Blatter since leading his AC Milan side off the field after suffering racial abuse in a friendly game in January.
