Top Premier League clubs have been alerted by Pep Guardiola’s decision to make Arjen Robben available for transfer.

Guardiola will succeed Juup Heynckes in the summer at Bayern Munich, and according to the Daily Mail, has started to make his moves in the transfer market.

Having tied up the signing of Mario Gotze from Borussia Dortmund, Guardiola has now decided that both Robben (pictured) and goal poacher Mario Gomez are surplus to requirements in his reign.

It follows the path of what Guardiola did at Barcelona in 2008, when he moved on the likes of Deco and Ronaldinho on the way to great success, as shown by the 15 major honours he won in his four years managing at the Nou Camp.

Robben moved to Munich from Real Madrid in 2009, and has reached two UEFA Champions League finals, as well as winning the Bundesliga title this season.

He was in electric form in midweek, scoring the third of the Bavarians’ four goals in their demolition of Barcelona in Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final first leg.
