Son attracting interest from Premier League pair

South Korean starlet Heung-min Son is being targeted for a summer move to the Premier League, reports Sky Sports.

According to his agent, Thies Bliemeister, both Manchester United and Chelsea have made offers for the 20-year-old, who currently plays his football in the Bundesliga with Hamburg.

Hamburg have set an asking price of £10m for the 6ft plus striker, who has a decent scoring record of one goal every three games, and has even been compared to having similar traits akin to Cristiano Ronaldo.

Inter have also kept tabs on the attacker, while Tottenham are also keen admirers of his talents.

Bliemeister told Interlive: “Inter Milan’s emissaries saw a couple of his matches, but so far I have not had any contact with the Italian club’s officials.

“He has signed a new contract with Hamburg SV extending it for one year, but there have been many offers for him as from Manchester United and Chelsea.”

Son (pictured) made his debut for the South Korean national side in 2010, featuring 12 times since.

Sir Alex Ferguson has sent scouts on regular intervals to Germany, and will be hoping to land Son to his young emerging squad, with Wilfried Zaha already signed up from Crystal Palace for next season.

Chelsea are outsiders to secure his services, due to the precarious management situation enfolding at Stamford Bridge.
