Norwich complete Becchio capture

Norwich City have added to their squad on deadline day, as Eurosport understands striker Luciano Becchio (pictured) has completed his move from Leeds United, after he passed his medical at Carrow Road.

The 29-year-old could be joined by two other additions on East Anglia.

Sporting Kansas City striker Kei Kamara is likely to join on loan, whilst a fourth offer has been reported to be made for Celtic’s Gary Hooper.

Manager Chris Hughton is keen to address a real problem for the Canaries, who have scored just two goals in the Premier League since the start of 2013.

Last season’s top goalscorer Grant Holt has only found the net four times in the current campaign.

Becchio has scored 19 goals for Leeds this season, and handed in a transfer request last week after talks over a new deal at Elland Road stalled.

He was left out of Neil Warnock’s FA Cup squad that beat Tottenham last weekend.

The Argentine has scored 75 times for the Yorkshire club in 190 league appearances.
