ITV to show Oldham v Liverpool FA Cup clash

ITV have confirmed that they will be heading to Boundary Park for one of their two live FA Cup fourth round ties, reports the official website of the FA.

Paul Dickov's Oldham side, who are struggling in League One, will host Liverpool on Sunday, 27 January, kicking off live at 4pm.

Dickov has had a difficult Christmas managing at the Latics.  His coaching team was put on gardening leave during the festive period by the Oldham board, but the players responded with a tremendous 3-2 away victory at Nottingham Forest in the third round on Saturday.

Liverpool edged past a resilient Mansfield challenge on Sunday to win 2-1.  Brendan Rodgers side will visit Boundary Park for a competitive fixture between the sides for the first time since January 1994.

Liverpool won on that day 3-0, with the goals coming from Julian Dicks, a young Robbie Fowler and Jamie Redknapp.

The teams met last season at Anfield in the third round, when Liverpool triumphed 5-1 in their run to the FA Cup final (trophy pictured).
