Everton attempting to hijack M’Vila QPR deal

Rennes highly-rated defensive midfielder Yann M’Vila is subject to a bidding war from three Premier League clubs.

The Daily Mail reports that Everton have shown an interest in the 22-year-old, with Fulham also believed to have made a bid to sign the French international.

M’Vila (pictured) had been expected to join his fellow countryman Loic Remy at Queens Park Rangers this week, but this move could be put in doubt by Everton’s interest.

David Moyes is considering making a loan offer for M’Vila, with a view to a permanent move in the summer.

QPR have reportedly submitted an official offer of £6.2m to Rennes, who currently find themselves sixth in the French table, nine points behind league leaders Lyon.

It is understood that Rennes have slapped a price tag of £10m on one of their key players, who was a transfer target for Arsene Wenger and Arsenal last summer.

M’Vila has made 110 league appearances for his current club, scoring twice, and been capped 22 times by France at international level.
