Championship round-up: Barnsley batter Birmingham

This weekend’s Championship fixtures saw a huge surprise unravel at St. Andrews.
Relegation favourites at the start of the season Barnsley, recorded their first away win of the season and in some style.
Craig Davies scored four goals in 19 second half minutes, as the Tykes recorded only their third win at Birmingham since 1950.
The 5-0 humiliation will add to the pressure on Lee Clark as the club continue to make a sluggish start to the new season.
The ‘Kean Out’ banners returned at Ewood Park on Friday night as Blackburn lost their first match in the second tier.
They were beaten 2-1 by Middlesbrough, with Lukas Jutkiewicz scoring both goals for the away side.
Stunning comeback from Palace
Blackburn were replaced in top spot by Gus Poyet’s in-form Brighton side.
They won 2-1 at Millwall to record their fifth successive victory, taking the Seagulls two points clear of the chasing pack.
The comeback of the season so far came from Crystal Palace at the weekend.
Glen Murray hit a magnificent hat-trick as they stormed back from 2-0 down inside a quarter of an hour to beat a stunned Cardiff City side 3-2 at Selhurst Park.
Another team to miss out on capitalising on Blackburn’s slip at home was Blackpool, who went down 3-1 at home to Huddersfield Town on Monday evening.
Lee Novak, Oliver Norwood (pictured) and James Vaughan scored the goals which took Simon Grayson’s side up into second spot and shows that there is life after Jordan Rhodes.
Wolves recorded their third consecutive victory with a 2-0 triumph at Peterborough. Posh remain the only club in the entire Football League yet to register a point.
Burnley’s away day blues end
It wasn’t just Barnsley and Middlesbrough who recorded maiden away victories for the season this weekend.
Charlie Austin hit an 89th minute winner as Burnley won 2-1 at Derby County in a hard-fought and even encounter in the Midlands.
Charlton climbed out of the bottom three, thanks to their own 2-1 win on their travels at Ipswich Town.
The Tractor Boys stay second bottom with Millwall replacing their London rivals in the bottom three.
Leeds recovered from back-to-back losses with a 2-1 success against Nottingham Forest, as talk of a potential foreign investor coming into the club gathers further momentum.
