Manchester United link up with General Motors

Manchester United have announced a major new shirt sponsorship deal with General Motors.
Car manufacturer Chevrolet will become the club's shirt sponsor from the 2014-15 campaign.
The deal will run for seven years and is believed to be worth approximately £200m, which makes this partnership, a world record shirt sponsorship deal.
Richard Arnold, Manchester United’s commercial director, said: “We have been partners with Chevrolet for only six weeks but already they have produced some fantastic ideas that will benefit both the partnership and our 659 million followers around the world.
“They are a key partner on our current tour and I know they have enjoyed experiencing the buzz generated by our fanatical support and the sell-out crowds in South Africa, China and Europe.”
The Red Devils' current deal with American insurance giant AON still has two seasons to run. Chevrolet will become only the fifth sponsor in the club’s 134-year history. The other previous United sponsors were Sharp, Vodafone and AIG.
