Fantasy Premier League is back!

It is that time of year again where a lot of us fans are left devastated by a dismal formation choice, incensed by the performance of your club record signing and want to tell your manager that he is useless and you can do better.
There are many games around to pit your wits and one of the best is the Fantasy Premier League game on the official Premier League.com website.
Big prizes
With over 2.5m people signed up to play, Fantasy Premier League is one of the biggest and one of the best games around to play.
It is free and you can win big prizes.
The person that finishes top of the monthly leaderboard will be declared as the Manager of the Month and will receive an iPad, a case of Lucozade Sport, a copy of EA Sports new title, FIFA 13 & a Nike Maxim match ball.
New for the 2012-13 season is in introduction of quarterly prizes. Each manager who finishes top of each quarter of the season, e.g. the first quarter is Gameweek 1-9, they will win a VIP trip to see the Barclays Premier League team of their choice, together with two nights’ accommodation, transfers and a delicious pre-match meal.
The top prize for the overall champion will be treated to a seven-night break in the United Kingdom, after the league teamed up with an official partner, VisitBritain.
They will also experience VIP hospitality at two Barclays Premier League matches, visit major locations such as Madame Tussauds and the Tower of London and enjoy a private ride on the London Eye, whilst having champagne.
Seven nights’ accommodation and transfers to and from the UK are also included in the prize.
Bugdet of £100m
All players have a budget of £100m to start with, so choose players wisely. You must pick two goalkeepers, five defenders, five midfielders and three attackers and stay within budget.
There is a limit of number of players you can have from a team, with a maximum of three. So, Manchester City fans, you can’t get away with picking your starting 11!
You can play against friends and family, colleagues or a community by setting up private leagues, which can be scored through a head-to-head record, or total scoring over the season.
Before each Gameweek, with the regular deadline, being 11.30am on a Saturday morning, you have to pick your starting 11, along with a captain and vice-captain. The captain and vice-captain can be changed each week, with double points available for captain.
So, if Sergio Aguero is your captain and scores a hat-trick on one particular week, expect a hatful of points to come in your direction.
All players are allowed to make one free transfer per gameweek, to compensate for the inevitable injuries and suspensions. Any more than one transfer per week and it results in a four point deduction from your total on the previous week. Wildcards can be played twice a season.
Plus, if you are stuck over selection, visit ‘The Scout,’ who might be able to give tips of whose hot and who’s not during the campaign.
Join in!
Last season, head teacher Sam Pater came out on top overall, with 2,414 points.
As part of his prize, Sam will be watching Manchester United in the Barclays Premier League this season.
The codes for my two private leagues this season are: 84107-55880 (The Olympic Zone) & 84107-55826 (Premier Power)
In its 11th season and getting more popular with each year, Fantasy Premier League is getting better with each season.
So, you can talk the talk but can you walk the walk and make those brilliant decisions, that a Ferguson, Mancini or Wenger would be envious to.
Good luck!
